pam-config - Local Privilege Escalation via Polkit Bypass
A Local Privilege Escalation (LPE) vulnerability has been discovered in pam-config within Linux Pluggable Authentication Modules (PAM). This flaw allows an unprivileged local attacker (for example, a user logged in via SSH) to obtain the elevated privileges normally reserved for a physically present, "allow_active" user. The highest risk is that the attacker can then perform all allow_active yes Polkit actions, which are typically restricted to console users, potentially gaining unauthorized control over system configurations, services, or other sensitive operations.

Chamilo v1.11.24 Unrestricted File Upload PHP Webshell
Unrestricted file upload in big file upload functionality in `/main/inc/lib/javascript/bigupload/inc/bigUpload.php` in Chamilo LMS <= v1.11.24 allows unauthenticated attackers to perform stored cross-site scripting attacks and obtain remote code execution via uploading of web shell.

Tenda G300-F <16.01.14.2 - Command Injection
Tenda G300-F router firmware version 16.01.14.2 and prior contain an OS command injection vulnerability in the WAN diagnostic functionality (formSetWanDiag). The implementation constructs a shell command that invokes curl and incorporates attacker-controlled input into the command line without adequate neutralization. As a result, a remote attacker with access to the affected management interface can inject additional shell syntax and execute arbitrary commands on the device with the privileges of the management process.

needrestart < 3.8 - Local OS Command Injection via Modules::ScanDeps
Qualys discovered that needrestart, before version 3.8, passes unsanitized data to a library (Modules::ScanDeps) which expects safe input. This could allow a local attacker to execute arbitrary shell commands. Please see the related CVE-2024-10224 in Modules::ScanDeps.

FortiOS 7.6.0-7.6.4 - Unauthenticated Authentication Bypass via LDAP Configuration
An Authentication Bypass by Primary Weakness vulnerability [CWE-305] vulnerability in Fortinet FortiOS 7.6.0 through 7.6.4 may allow an unauthenticated attacker to bypass LDAP authentication of Agentless VPN or FSSO policy, when the remote LDAP server is configured in a specific way.

METIS DFS <oscore 2.1.234-r18 - RCE
METIS DFS devices (versions <= oscore 2.1.234-r18) expose a web-based shell at the /console endpoint that does not require authentication. Accessing this endpoint allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary operating system commands with 'daemon' privileges. This results in the compromise of the software, granting unauthorized access to modify configuration, read and alter sensitive data, or disrupt services.

Pterodactyl Panel < 1.11.11 - Unauthenticated Remote Code Execution via Locale Endpoint
Pterodactyl is a free, open-source game server management panel. Prior to version 1.11.11, using the /locales/locale.json with the locale and namespace query parameters, a malicious actor is able to execute arbitrary code without being authenticated. With the ability to execute arbitrary code it could be used to gain access to the Panel's server, read credentials from the Panel's config, extract sensitive information from the database, access files of servers managed by the panel, etc. This issue has been patched in version 1.11.11. There are no software workarounds for this vulnerability, but use of an external Web Application Firewall (WAF) could help mitigate this attack.

Red Hat Enterprise Linux - Local Privilege Escalation via libblockdev XFS Image Resizing
A Local Privilege Escalation (LPE) vulnerability was found in libblockdev. Generally, the "allow_active" setting in Polkit permits a physically present user to take certain actions based on the session type. Due to the way libblockdev interacts with the udisks daemon, an "allow_active" user on a system may be able escalate to full root privileges on the target host. Normally, udisks mounts user-provided filesystem images with security flags like nosuid and nodev to prevent privilege escalation. However, a local attacker can create a specially crafted XFS image containing a SUID-root shell, then trick udisks into resizing it. This mounts their malicious filesystem with root privileges, allowing them to execute their SUID-root shell and gain complete control of the system.

AdForest theme <6.0.12 - Auth Bypass
The AdForest theme for WordPress is vulnerable to authentication bypass in all versions up to, and including, 6.0.12. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying a user's identity prior to authenticating them through the 'sb_login_user_with_otp_fun' function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to log in as arbitrary users, including administrators.

OpenShift Controller Manager - Privilege Escalation via Crafted .gitconfig File
A flaw was found in OpenShift. This issue occurs due to the misuse of elevated privileges in the OpenShift Container Platform's build process. During the build initialization step, the git-clone container is run with a privileged security context, allowing unrestricted access to the node. An attacker with developer-level access can provide a crafted .gitconfig file containing commands executed during the cloning process, leading to arbitrary command execution on the worker node. An attacker running code in a privileged container could escalate their permissions on the node running the container.

JinJava 2.7.0-2.7.5 and 2.8.0-2.8.2 - Remote Code Execution via ForTag Sandbox Bypass
JinJava is a Java-based template engine based on django template syntax, adapted to render jinja templates. Prior to versions 2.7.6 and 2.8.3, JinJava is vulnerable to arbitrary Java execution via bypass through ForTag. This allows arbitrary Java class instantiation and file access bypassing built-in sandbox restrictions. This issue has been patched in versions 2.7.6 and 2.8.3.

apache-airflow-providers-http < 6.0.0 - Authenticated Remote Code Execution via Crafted Database Entry
A user with access to the DB could craft a database entry that would result in executing code on Triggerer - which gives anyone who have access to DB the same permissions as Dag Author. Since direct DB access is not usual and recommended for Airflow, the likelihood of it making any damage is low.
You should upgrade to version 6.0.0 of the provider to avoid even that risk.
