CVE-2026-31431 NOMISEC HIGH
crypto: algif_aead - Revert to operating out-of-place
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: crypto: algif_aead - Revert to operating out-of-place This mostly reverts commit 72548b093ee3 except for the copying of the associated data. There is no benefit in operating in-place in algif_aead since the source and destination come from different mappings. Get rid of all the complexity added for in-place operation and just copy the AD directly.

CVE-2026-43585 NOMISEC HIGH
OpenClaw < 2026.4.15 - Bearer Token Validation Bypass via Stale SecretRef Resolution
OpenClaw before 2026.4.15 captures resolved bearer-auth configuration at startup, allowing revoked tokens to remain valid after SecretRef rotation. Gateway HTTP and WebSocket handlers fail to re-resolve authentication per-request, enabling attackers to use rotated-out bearer tokens for unauthorized gateway access.

CVE-2026-40281 NOMISEC CRITICAL
Gotenberg vulnerable to argument injection via newlines in ExifTool metadata values
Gotenberg is a Docker-powered stateless API for PDF files. In versions 8.30.1 and earlier, the metadata write endpoint validates metadata keys for control characters but leaves metadata values unsanitized. A newline character in a metadata value splits the ExifTool stdin line into two separate arguments, allowing injection of arbitrary ExifTool pseudo-tags such as -FileName, -Directory, -SymLink, and -HardLink. This is a bypass of the incomplete key-sanitization fix introduced in v8.30.1. An unauthenticated attacker can rename or move any PDF being processed to an arbitrary path in the container filesystem, overwrite arbitrary files, or create symlinks and hard links at arbitrary paths.

CVE-2026-44109 NOMISEC CRITICAL
OpenClaw < 2026.4.15 - Authentication Bypass in Feishu Webhook and Card-Action Validation
OpenClaw before 2026.4.15 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability in Feishu webhook and card-action validation that allows unauthenticated requests to reach command dispatch. Missing encryptKey configuration and blank callback tokens fail open instead of rejecting requests, enabling attackers to bypass signature verification and replay protection to execute arbitrary commands.

CVE-2026-42231 NOMISEC HIGH
n8n: Prototype Pollution in XML Webhook Body Parser Leads to RCE
n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to versions 1.123.32, 2.17.4, and 2.18.1, a flaw in the xml2js library used to parse XML request bodies in n8n's webhook handler allowed prototype pollution via a crafted XML payload. An authenticated user with permission to create or modify workflows could exploit this to pollute the JavaScript object prototype and, by chaining the pollution with the Git node's SSH operations, achieve remote code execution on the n8n host. This issue has been patched in versions 1.123.32, 2.17.4, and 2.18.1.

CVE-2026-42228 NOMISEC MEDIUM
n8n: Hijacking of Unauthenticated Chat Execution
n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to versions 1.123.32, 2.17.4, and 2.18.1, the /chat WebSocket endpoint used by the Chat Trigger node's Hosted Chat feature did not verify that an incoming connection was authorized to interact with the target execution. An unauthenticated remote attacker who could identify a valid execution ID for a workflow in a waiting state could attach to that execution, receive the pending prompt intended for the legitimate user, and submit arbitrary input to resume or influence downstream workflow behavior. This issue has been patched in versions 1.123.32, 2.17.4, and 2.18.1.

Palo Alto PAN-OS User-ID Authentication Portal - Unauthenticated Root RCE
A buffer overflow vulnerability in the User-ID™ Authentication Portal (aka Captive Portal) service of Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS software allows an unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code with root privileges on the PA-Series and VM-Series firewalls by sending specially crafted packets. The risk of this issue is greatly reduced if you secure access to the User-ID™ Authentication Portal per the best practice guidelines https://knowledgebase.paloaltonetworks.com/KCSArticleDetail by restricting access to only trusted internal IP addresses. Prisma Access, Cloud NGFW and Panorama appliances are not impacted by this vulnerability.

CVE-2025-0133 NOMISEC LOW
PAN-OS 10.1.0-11.2.7 - Reflected Cross-Site Scripting in GlobalProtect Captive Portal
A reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the GlobalProtect™ gateway and portal features of Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS® software enables execution of malicious JavaScript in the context of an authenticated Captive Portal user's browser when they click on a specially crafted link. The primary risk is phishing attacks that can lead to credential theft—particularly if you enabled Clientless VPN. There is no availability impact to GlobalProtect features or GlobalProtect users. Attackers cannot use this vulnerability to tamper with or modify contents or configurations of the GlobalProtect portal or gateways. The integrity impact of this vulnerability is limited to enabling an attacker to create phishing and credential-stealing links that appear to be hosted on the GlobalProtect portal. For GlobalProtect users with Clientless VPN enabled, there is a limited impact on confidentiality due to inherent risks of Clientless VPN that facilitate credential theft. You can read more about this risk in the informational bulletin PAN-SA-2025-0005 https://security.paloaltonetworks.com/PAN-SA-2025-0005 https://security.paloaltonetworks.com/PAN-SA-2025-0005 . There is no impact to confidentiality for GlobalProtect users if you did not enable (or you disable) Clientless VPN.

Google Android <16-qpr2 - Auth Bypass
In adbd_tls_verify_cert of auth.cpp, there is a possible bypass of wireless ADB mutual authentication due to a logic error in the code. This could lead to remote (proximal/adjacent) code execution as the shell user with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.

CVE-2026-27944 NOMISEC CRITICAL
nginxui/nginx_ui < 2.3.3 - Unauthenticated Sensitive Data Exposure via Backup Endpoint
Nginx UI is a web user interface for the Nginx web server. Prior to version 2.3.3, the /api/backup endpoint is accessible without authentication and discloses the encryption keys required to decrypt the backup in the X-Backup-Security response header. This allows an unauthenticated attacker to download a full system backup containing sensitive data (user credentials, session tokens, SSL private keys, Nginx configurations) and decrypt it immediately. This issue has been patched in version 2.3.3.

Discord through 2026-01-16 - Information Disclosure via WebSocket API Response
Discord through 2026-01-16 allows gathering information about whether a user's client state is Invisible (and not actually offline) because the response to a WebSocket API request includes the user in the presences array (with "status": "offline"), whereas offline users are omitted from the presences array. This is arguably inconsistent with the UI description of Invisible as "You will appear offline."
