CVE-2025-54059 WRITEUP MEDIUM
Chainguard.dev Melange < 0.29.5 - Incorrect Default Permissions
melange allows users to build apk packages using declarative pipelines. Starting in version 0.23.0 and prior to version 0.29.5, SBOM files generated by melange in apks had file system permissions mode 666. This potentially allows an unprivileged user to tamper with apk SBOMs on a running image, potentially confusing security scanners. An attacker could also perform a DoS under special circumstances. Version 0.29.5 fixes the issue.
CVSS 4.4
CVE-2025-54068 WRITEUP CRITICAL
Laravel Livewire < 3.6.4 - Code Injection
Livewire is a full-stack framework for Laravel. In Livewire v3 up to and including v3.6.3, a vulnerability allows unauthenticated attackers to achieve remote command execution in specific scenarios. The issue stems from how certain component property updates are hydrated. This vulnerability is unique to Livewire v3 and does not affect prior major versions. Exploitation requires a component to be mounted and configured in a particular way, but does not require authentication or user interaction. This issue has been patched in Livewire v3.6.4. All users are strongly encouraged to upgrade to this version or later as soon as possible. No known workarounds are available.
CVSS 9.8
CVE-2025-54121 WRITEUP MEDIUM
Pypi Starlette < 0.47.2 - Resource Allocation Without Limits
Starlette is a lightweight ASGI (Asynchronous Server Gateway Interface) framework/toolkit, designed for building async web services in Python. In versions 0.47.1 and below, when parsing a multi-part form with large files (greater than the default max spool size) starlette will block the main thread to roll the file over to disk. This blocks the event thread which means the application can't accept new connections. The UploadFile code has a minor bug where instead of just checking for self._in_memory, the logic should also check if the additional bytes will cause a rollover. The vulnerability is fixed in version 0.47.2.
CVSS 5.3
CVE-2025-54123 WRITEUP CRITICAL
Hoverfly < 1.12.0 - OS Command Injection
Hoverfly is an open source API simulation tool. In versions 1.11.3 and prior, the middleware functionality in Hoverfly is vulnerable to command injection vulnerability at `/api/v2/hoverfly/middleware` endpoint due to insufficient validation and sanitization in user input. The vulnerability exists in the middleware management API endpoint `/api/v2/hoverfly/middleware`. This issue is born due to combination of three code level flaws: Insufficient Input Validation in middleware.go line 94-96; Unsafe Command Execution in local_middleware.go line 14-19; and Immediate Execution During Testing in hoverfly_service.go line 173. This allows an attacker to gain remote code execution (RCE) on any system running the vulnerable Hoverfly service. Since the input is directly passed to system commands without proper checks, an attacker can upload a malicious payload or directly execute arbitrary commands (including reverse shells) on the host server with the privileges of the Hoverfly process. Commit 17e60a9bc78826deb4b782dca1c1abd3dbe60d40 in version 1.12.0 disables the set middleware API by default, and subsequent changes to documentation make users aware of the security changes of exposing the set middleware API.
CVSS 9.8
CVE-2025-54134 WRITEUP MEDIUM
PSU Haxcms-nodejs < 11.0.9 - Improper Input Validation
HAX CMS NodeJs allows users to manage their microsite universe with a NodeJs backend. In versions 11.0.8 and below, the HAX CMS NodeJS application crashes when an authenticated attacker provides an API request lacking required URL parameters. This vulnerability affects the listFiles and saveFiles endpoints. This vulnerability exists because the application does not properly handle exceptions which occur as a result of changes to user-modifiable URL parameters. This is fixed in version 11.0.9.
CVSS 6.5
CVE-2025-54140 WRITEUP HIGH
Pypi Pyload-ng < 0.5.0b3.dev90 - Path Traversal
pyLoad is a free and open-source Download Manager written in pure Python. In version 0.5.0b3.dev89, an authenticated path traversal vulnerability exists in the /json/upload endpoint of pyLoad. By manipulating the filename of an uploaded file, an attacker can traverse out of the intended upload directory, allowing them to write arbitrary files to any location on the system accessible to the pyLoad process. This may lead to: Remote Code Execution (RCE), local privilege escalation, system-wide compromise, persistence, and backdoors. This is fixed in version 0.5.0b3.dev90.
CVSS 7.5
CVE-2025-54141 WRITEUP HIGH
Viewvc < 1.1.31 - Path Traversal
ViewVC is a browser interface for CVS and Subversion version control repositories. In versions 1.1.0 through 1.1.31 and 1.2.0 through 1.2.3, the standalone.py script provided in the ViewVC distribution can expose the contents of the host server's filesystem though a directory traversal-style attack. This is fixed in versions 1.1.31 and 1.2.4.
CVSS 7.5
CVE-2025-54310 WRITEUP MEDIUM
qBittorrent <5.1.2 - Info Disclosure
qBittorrent before 5.1.2 does not prevent access to a local file that is referenced in a link URL. This affects rsswidget.cpp and searchjobwidget.cpp.
CVSS 4.0
CVE-2025-54365 WRITEUP HIGH
Fastapi-guard Fastapi Guard < 3.0.2 - Denial of Service
fastapi-guard is a security library for FastAPI that provides middleware to control IPs, log requests, detect penetration attempts and more. In version 3.0.1, the regular expression patched to mitigate the ReDoS vulnerability by limiting the length of string fails to catch inputs that exceed this limit. This type of patch fails to detect cases in which the string representing the attributes of a <script> tag exceeds 100 characters. As a result, most of the regex patterns present in version 3.0.1 can be bypassed. This is fixed in version 3.0.2.
CVSS 7.5
CVE-2025-54370 WRITEUP HIGH
Phpoffice Phpspreadsheet < 1.30.0 - SSRF
PhpOffice/PhpSpreadsheet is a pure PHP library for reading and writing spreadsheet files. Prior to versions 1.30.0, 2.1.12, 2.4.0, 3.10.0, and 5.0.0, SSRF can occur when a processed HTML document is read and displayed in the browser. The vulnerability lies in the setPath method of the PhpOffice\PhpSpreadsheet\Worksheet\Drawing class, where a crafted string from the user is passed to the HTML reader. This issue has been patched in versions 1.30.0, 2.1.12, 2.4.0, 3.10.0, and 5.0.0.
CVE-2025-54381 WRITEUP CRITICAL
Bentoml < 1.4.19 - SSRF
BentoML is a Python library for building online serving systems optimized for AI apps and model inference. In versions 1.4.0 until 1.4.19, the file upload processing system contains an SSRF vulnerability that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to force the server to make arbitrary HTTP requests. The vulnerability stems from the multipart form data and JSON request handlers, which automatically download files from user-provided URLs without validating whether those URLs point to internal network addresses, cloud metadata endpoints, or other restricted resources. The documentation explicitly promotes this URL-based file upload feature, making it an intended design that exposes all deployed services to SSRF attacks by default. Version 1.4.19 contains a patch for the issue.
CVSS 9.9
CVE-2025-54385 WRITEUP CRITICAL
Xwiki < 16.10.6 - Improper Input Validation
XWiki Platform is a generic wiki platform offering runtime services for applications built on top of it. In versions between 17.0.0-rc1 to 17.2.2 and versions 16.10.5 and below, it's possible to execute any SQL query in Oracle by using the function like DBMS_XMLGEN or DBMS_XMLQUERY. The XWiki#searchDocuments APIs pass queries directly to Hibernate without sanitization. Even when these APIs enforce a specific SELECT clause, attackers can still inject malicious code through HQL's native function support in other parts of the query (such as the WHERE clause). This is fixed in versions 16.10.6 and 17.3.0-rc-1.
CVSS 9.8
CVE-2025-54425 WRITEUP MEDIUM
Umbraco Cms < 13.9.3 - Information Disclosure
Umbraco is an ASP.NET CMS. In versions 13.0.0 through 13.9.2, 15.0.0 through 15.4.1 and 16.0.0 through 16.1.0, the content delivery API can be restricted from public access where an API key must be provided in a header to authorize the request. It's also possible to configure output caching, such that the delivery API outputs will be cached for a period of time, improving performance. There's an issue when these two things are used together, where caching doesn't vary by the header that contains the API key. As such, it's possible for a user without a valid API key to retrieve a response for a given path and query if it has recently been requested and cached by request with a valid key. This is fixed in versions 13.9.3, 15.4.4 and 16.1.1.
CVSS 5.3
CVE-2025-54433 WRITEUP HIGH
Pypi Bugsink < 1.7.4 - Path Traversal
Bugsink is a self-hosted error tracking service. In versions 1.4.2 and below, 1.5.0 through 1.5.4, 1.6.0 through 1.6.3, and 1.7.0 through 1.7.3, ingestion paths construct file locations directly from untrusted event_id input without validation. A specially crafted event_id can result in paths outside the intended directory, potentially allowing file overwrite or creation in arbitrary locations. Submitting such input requires access to a valid DSN, potentially exposing them. If Bugsink runs in a container, the effect is confined to the container’s filesystem. In non-containerized setups, the overwrite may affect other parts of the system accessible to that user. This is fixed in versions 1.4.3, 1.5.5, 1.6.4 and 1.7.4.
CVE-2025-54574 WRITEUP CRITICAL
Squid < 6.4 - Out-of-Bounds Write
Squid is a caching proxy for the Web. In versions 6.3 and below, Squid is vulnerable to a heap buffer overflow and possible remote code execution attack when processing URN due to incorrect buffer management. This has been fixed in version 6.4. To work around this issue, disable URN access permissions.
CVSS 9.3
CVE-2025-54575 WRITEUP MEDIUM
Nuget Sixlabors.imagesharp < 2.1.11 - Denial of Service
ImageSharp is a 2D graphics library. In versions below 2.1.11 and 3.0.0 through 3.1.10, a specially crafted GIF file containing a malformed comment extension block (with a missing block terminator) can cause the ImageSharp GIF decoder to enter an infinite loop while attempting to skip the block. This leads to a denial of service. Applications processing untrusted GIF input should upgrade to a patched version. This issue is fixed in versions 2.1.11 and 3.1.11.
CVSS 5.3
CVE-2025-54583 WRITEUP MEDIUM
Finos Gitproxy < 1.19.2 - Incorrect Authorization
GitProxy is an application that stands between developers and a Git remote endpoint (e.g., github.com). Versions 1.19.1 and below allow users to push to remote repositories while bypassing policies and explicit approvals. Since checks and plugins are skipped, code containing secrets or unwanted changes could be pushed into a repository. This is fixed in version 1.19.2.
CVSS 6.5
CVE-2025-54584 WRITEUP MEDIUM
GitProxy <1.19.1 - Code Injection
GitProxy is an application that stands between developers and a Git remote endpoint (e.g., github.com). In versions 1.19.1 and below, an attacker can craft a malicious Git packfile to exploit the PACK signature detection in the parsePush.ts file. By embedding a misleading PACK signature within commit content and carefully constructing the packet structure, the attacker can trick the parser into treating invalid or unintended data as the packfile. Potentially, this would allow bypassing approval or hiding commits. This issue is fixed in version 1.19.2.
CVSS 5.7
CVE-2025-54585 WRITEUP MEDIUM
Finos Gitproxy < 1.19.2 - Improper Authorization
GitProxy is an application that stands between developers and a Git remote endpoint. In versions 1.19.1 and below, attackers can exploit the way GitProxy handles new branch creation to bypass the approval of prior commits on the parent branch. The vulnerability impacts all users or organizations relying on GitProxy to enforce policy and prevent unapproved changes. It requires no elevated privileges beyond regular push access, and no extra user interaction. It does however, require a GitProxy administrator or designated user (canUserApproveRejectPush) to approve pushes to the child branch. This is fixed in version 1.19.2.
CVSS 6.5
CVE-2025-54586 WRITEUP HIGH
Finos Gitproxy < 1.19.2 - Information Disclosure
GitProxy is an application that stands between developers and a Git remote endpoint. In versions 1.19.1 and below, attackers can inject extra commits into the pack sent to GitHub, commits that aren’t pointed to by any branch. Although these “hidden” commits never show up in the repository’s visible history, GitHub still serves them at their direct commit URLs. This lets an attacker exfiltrate sensitive data without ever leaving a trace in the branch view. We rate this a High‑impact vulnerability because it completely compromises repository confidentiality. This is fixed in version 1.19.2.
CVSS 7.1
CVE-2025-54589 WRITEUP MEDIUM
9001 Copyparty < 1.18.7 - Basic XSS
Copyparty is a portable file server. In versions 1.18.6 and below, when accessing the recent uploads page at `/?ru`, users can filter the results using an input field at the top. This field appends a filter parameter to the URL, which reflects its value directly into a `<script>` block without proper escaping, allowing for reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) and can be exploited against both authenticated and unauthenticated users. This is fixed in version 1.18.7.
CVSS 6.3
CVE-2025-54598 WRITEUP MEDIUM
Bevy < 2025-06-24 - CSRF
The Bevy Event service through 2025-07-22, as used for eBay Seller Events and other activities, allows CSRF to delete all notifications via the /notifications/delete/ URI.
CVSS 6.5
CVE-2025-54803 WRITEUP HIGH
Sunnyadn Js-toml < 1.0.2 - Prototype Pollution
js-toml is a TOML parser for JavaScript, fully compliant with the TOML 1.0.0 Spec. In versions below 1.0.2, a prototype pollution vulnerability in js-toml allows a remote attacker to add or modify properties of the global Object.prototype by parsing a maliciously crafted TOML input. This is fixed in version 1.0.2.
CVSS 7.5
CVE-2025-54880 WRITEUP MEDIUM
Mermaid < 11.10.0 - XSS
Mermaid is a JavaScript based diagramming and charting tool that uses Markdown-inspired text definitions and a renderer to create and modify complex diagrams. In the default configuration of mermaid 11.9.0 and earlier, user supplied input for architecture diagram icons is passed to the d3 html() method, creating a sink for cross site scripting. This vulnerability is fixed in 11.10.0.
CVSS 6.1
CVE-2025-54881 WRITEUP MEDIUM
NPM Mermaid < 11.10.0 - XSS
Mermaid is a JavaScript based diagramming and charting tool that uses Markdown-inspired text definitions and a renderer to create and modify complex diagrams. In the default configuration of mermaid 10.9.0-rc.1 to 11.9.0, user supplied input for sequence diagram labels is passed to innerHTML during calculation of element size, causing XSS.
