CVE-2024-28860 WRITEUP HIGH
Cilium 1.4.0-1.13.13 - Inadequate Encryption Strength in IPsec Transparent Encryption
Cilium is a networking, observability, and security solution with an eBPF-based dataplane. Users of IPsec transparent encryption in Cilium may be vulnerable to cryptographic attacks that render the transparent encryption ineffective. In particular, Cilium is vulnerable to chosen plaintext, key recovery, replay attacks by a man-in-the-middle attacker. These attacks are possible due to an ESP sequence number collision when multiple nodes are configured with the same key. Fixed versions of Cilium use unique keys for each IPsec tunnel established between nodes, resolving all of the above attacks. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.13.13, 1.14.9, and 1.15.3.

CVE-2024-29023 WRITEUP HIGH
Xibo <3.3.10-4.0.9 - Info Disclosure
Xibo is an Open Source Digital Signage platform with a web content management system and Windows display player software. Session tokens are exposed in the return of session search API call on the sessions page. Subsequently they can be exfiltrated and used to hijack a session. Users must be granted access to the session page, or be a super admin. Users should upgrade to version 3.3.10 or 4.0.9 which fix this issue. Customers who host their CMS with the Xibo Signage service have already received an upgrade or patch to resolve this issue regardless of the CMS version that they are running. Patches are available for earlier versions of Xibo CMS that are out of security support: 2.3 patch ebeccd000b51f00b9a25f56a2f252d6812ebf850.diff. 1.8 patch a81044e6ccdd92cc967e34c125bd8162432e51bc.diff. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
CVSS 7.2
CVE-2024-29025 WRITEUP MEDIUM
Netty < 4.1.108 - Denial of Service via HttpPostRequestDecoder
Netty is an asynchronous event-driven network application framework for rapid development of maintainable high performance protocol servers & clients. The `HttpPostRequestDecoder` can be tricked to accumulate data. While the decoder can store items on the disk if configured so, there are no limits to the number of fields the form can have, an attacher can send a chunked post consisting of many small fields that will be accumulated in the `bodyListHttpData` list. The decoder cumulates bytes in the `undecodedChunk` buffer until it can decode a field, this field can cumulate data without limits. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.1.108.Final.
CVSS 5.3
CVE-2024-29027 WRITEUP CRITICAL
Parse Server < 6.5.5 - Remote Code Execution via Cloud Function or Job Name Injection
Parse Server is an open source backend that can be deployed to any infrastructure that can run Node.js. Prior to versions 6.5.5 and 7.0.0-alpha.29, calling an invalid Parse Server Cloud Function name or Cloud Job name crashes the server and may allow for code injection, internal store manipulation or remote code execution. The patch in versions 6.5.5 and 7.0.0-alpha.29 added string sanitation for Cloud Function name and Cloud Job name. As a workaround, sanitize the Cloud Function name and Cloud Job name before it reaches Parse Server.
CVSS 9.0
CVE-2024-29180 WRITEUP HIGH
Webpack-dev-middleware <7.1.0, 6.1.2, 5.3.4 - Info Disclosure
Prior to versions 7.1.0, 6.1.2, and 5.3.4, the webpack-dev-middleware development middleware for devpack does not validate the supplied URL address sufficiently before returning the local file. It is possible to access any file on the developer's machine. The middleware can either work with the physical filesystem when reading the files or it can use a virtualized in-memory `memfs` filesystem. If `writeToDisk` configuration option is set to `true`, the physical filesystem is used. The `getFilenameFromUrl` method is used to parse URL and build the local file path. The public path prefix is stripped from the URL, and the `unsecaped` path suffix is appended to the `outputPath`. As the URL is not unescaped and normalized automatically before calling the midlleware, it is possible to use `%2e` and `%2f` sequences to perform path traversal attack. Developers using `webpack-dev-server` or `webpack-dev-middleware` are affected by the issue. When the project is started, an attacker might access any file on the developer's machine and exfiltrate the content. If the development server is listening on a public IP address (or `0.0.0.0`), an attacker on the local network can access the local files without any interaction from the victim (direct connection to the port). If the server allows access from third-party domains, an attacker can send a malicious link to the victim. When visited, the client side script can connect to the local server and exfiltrate the local files. Starting with fixed versions 7.1.0, 6.1.2, and 5.3.4, the URL is unescaped and normalized before any further processing.
CVSS 7.4
CVE-2024-29189 WRITEUP HIGH
PyAnsys Geometry <0.3.3-0.4.11 - Code Injection
PyAnsys Geometry is a Python client library for the Ansys Geometry service and other CAD Ansys products. On file src/ansys/geometry/core/connection/product_instance.py, upon calling this method _start_program directly, users could exploit its usage to perform malicious operations on the current machine where the script is ran. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.3.3 and 0.4.12.
CVSS 7.4
CVE-2024-29888 WRITEUP MEDIUM
Saleor 3.14.56-3.14.61 - Unauthorized Exposure of Private Personal Information via Click-and-Collect Address Overwrite
Saleor is an e-commerce platform that serves high-volume companies. When using `Pickup: Local stock only` click-and-collect as a delivery method in specific conditions the customer could overwrite the warehouse address with its own, which exposes its address as click-and-collect address. This issue has been patched in versions: `3.14.61`, `3.15.37`, `3.16.34`, `3.17.32`, `3.18.28`, `3.19.15`.
CVSS 4.2
CVE-2024-29893 WRITEUP MEDIUM
Argo CD 2.4.0-2.8.13 - Denial of Service via Malicious Helm Registry
Argo CD is a declarative, GitOps continuous delivery tool for Kubernetes. All versions of ArgoCD starting from v2.4 have a bug where the ArgoCD repo-server component is vulnerable to a Denial-of-Service attack vector. Specifically, it's possible to crash the repo server component through an out of memory error by pointing it to a malicious Helm registry. The loadRepoIndex() function in the ArgoCD's helm package, does not limit the size nor time while fetching the data. It fetches it and creates a byte slice from the retrieved data in one go. If the registry is implemented to push data continuously, the repo server will keep allocating memory until it runs out of it. A patch for this vulnerability has been released in v2.10.3, v2.9.8, and v2.8.12.
CVSS 6.5
CVE-2024-29895 WRITEUP CRITICAL
Cacti 1.3.x DEV - Command Injection
Cacti provides an operational monitoring and fault management framework. A command injection vulnerability on the 1.3.x DEV branch allows any unauthenticated user to execute arbitrary command on the server when `register_argc_argv` option of PHP is `On`. In `cmd_realtime.php` line 119, the `$poller_id` used as part of the command execution is sourced from `$_SERVER['argv']`, which can be controlled by URL when `register_argc_argv` option of PHP is `On`. And this option is `On` by default in many environments such as the main PHP Docker image for PHP. Commit 53e8014d1f082034e0646edc6286cde3800c683d contains a patch for the issue, but this commit was reverted in commit 99633903cad0de5ace636249de16f77e57a3c8fc.
CVSS 10.0
CVE-2024-30212 WRITEUP HIGH
MPLAB Harmony 3 Core Module 3.0.0-3.13.3 - Unauthenticated Arbitrary Memory Read and Write via SCSI READ(10) Command
If a SCSI READ(10) command is initiated via USB using the largest LBA (0xFFFFFFFF) with it's default block size of 512 and a count of 1, the first 512 byte of the 0x80000000 memory area is returned to the user. If the block count is increased, the full RAM can be exposed. The same method works to write to this memory area. If RAM contains pointers, those can be - depending on the application - overwritten to return data from any other offset including Progam and Boot Flash.
CVE-2024-30251 WRITEUP HIGH
aiohttp < 3.9.4 - Denial of Service via Crafted Multipart Form Data
aiohttp is an asynchronous HTTP client/server framework for asyncio and Python. In affected versions an attacker can send a specially crafted POST (multipart/form-data) request. When the aiohttp server processes it, the server will enter an infinite loop and be unable to process any further requests. An attacker can stop the application from serving requests after sending a single request. This issue has been addressed in version 3.9.4. Users are advised to upgrade. Users unable to upgrade may manually apply a patch to their systems. Please see the linked GHSA for instructions.
CVSS 7.5
CVE-2024-30252 WRITEUP LOW
Livemarks < 3.7 - Cross-Site Request Forgery via subscribe.html
Livemarks is a browser extension that provides RSS feed bookmark folders. Versions of Livemarks prior to 3.7 are vulnerable to cross-site request forgery. A malicious website may be able to coerce the extension to send an authenticated GET request to an arbitrary URL. An authenticated request is a request where the cookies of the browser are sent along with the request. The `subscribe.js` script uses the first parameter from the current URL location as the URL of the RSS feed to subscribe to and checks that the RSS feed is valid XML. `subscribe.js` is accessible by an attacker website due to its use in `subscribe.html`, an HTML page that is declared as a `web_accessible_resource` in `manifest.json`. This issue may lead to `Privilege Escalation`. A CSRF breaks the integrity of servers running on a private network. A user of the browser extension may have a private server with dangerous functionality, which is assumed to be safe due to network segmentation. Upon receiving an authenticated request instantiated from an attacker, this integrity is broken. Version 3.7 fixes this issue by removing subscribe.html from `web_accessible_resources`.
CVSS 2.6
CVE-2024-30265 WRITEUP HIGH
Collabora Online - Local File Inclusion
Collabora Online is a collaborative online office suite based on LibreOffice technology. Any deployment of voilà dashboard allow local file inclusion. Any file on a filesystem that is readable by the user that runs the voilà dashboard server can be downloaded by someone with network access to the server. Whether this still requires authentication depends on how voilà is deployed. This issue has been patched in 0.2.17, 0.3.8, 0.4.4 and 0.5.6.
