ejs 3.1.6 - Server-Side Template Injection via outputFunctionName Option
The ejs (aka Embedded JavaScript templates) package 3.1.6 for Node.js allows server-side template injection in settings[view options][outputFunctionName]. This is parsed as an internal option, and overwrites the outputFunctionName option with an arbitrary OS command (which is executed upon template compilation).

Ignition < 2.5.2 - Unauthenticated Remote Code Execution via file_get_contents() and file_put_contents()
Ignition before 2.5.2, as used in Laravel and other products, allows unauthenticated remote attackers to execute arbitrary code because of insecure usage of file_get_contents() and file_put_contents(). This is exploitable on sites using debug mode with Laravel before 8.4.2.

AN_GradeBook <5.0.1 - SQL Injection
The AN_GradeBook WordPress plugin through 5.0.1 does not properly sanitise and escape a parameter before using it in a SQL statement, leading to a SQL injection exploitable by users with a role as low as subscriber

KioWare < 8.33 - Remote Code Execution via KioUtils.Execute
KioWare through 8.33 on Windows sets KioScriptingUrlACL.AclActions.AllowHigh for the about:blank origin, which allows attackers to obtain SYSTEM access via KioUtils.Execute in JavaScript code.

playsms < 1.4.3 - Unauthenticated Remote Code Execution via Template Injection
PlaySMS before 1.4.3 does not sanitize inputs from a malicious string.

OpenSSH < 9.3p2 - Remote Code Execution via PKCS#11 Untrusted Search Path
The PKCS#11 feature in ssh-agent in OpenSSH before 9.3p2 has an insufficiently trustworthy search path, leading to remote code execution if an agent is forwarded to an attacker-controlled system. (Code in /usr/lib is not necessarily safe for loading into ssh-agent.) NOTE: this issue exists because of an incomplete fix for CVE-2016-10009.

Log4Shell HTTP Header Injection
Apache Log4j2 2.0-beta9 through 2.15.0 (excluding security releases 2.12.2, 2.12.3, and 2.3.1) JNDI features used in configuration, log messages, and parameters do not protect against attacker controlled LDAP and other JNDI related endpoints. An attacker who can control log messages or log message parameters can execute arbitrary code loaded from LDAP servers when message lookup substitution is enabled. From log4j 2.15.0, this behavior has been disabled by default. From version 2.16.0 (along with 2.12.2, 2.12.3, and 2.3.1), this functionality has been completely removed. Note that this vulnerability is specific to log4j-core and does not affect log4net, log4cxx, or other Apache Logging Services projects.

Safe FME Server < 2022.2.5 - Authenticated Path Traversal and Arbitrary File Write via Network Resource Connection
A directory traversal vulnerability in Safe Software FME Server before 2022.2.5 allows an attacker to bypass validation when editing a network-based resource connection, resulting in the unauthorized reading and writing of arbitrary files. Successful exploitation requires an attacker to have access to a user account with write privileges. FME Flow 2023.0 is also a fixed version.

ASUS RT-AX56U V2 & RT-AC86U RCE via Format String in logmessage_normal
It is identified a format string vulnerability in ASUS RT-AX56U V2 & RT-AC86U. This vulnerability is caused by directly using input as a format string when calling syslog in logmessage_normal function, in the do_detwan_cgi module of httpd. A remote attacker with administrator privilege can exploit this vulnerability to perform remote arbitrary code execution, arbitrary system operation or disrupt service.
This issue affects RT-AX56U V2: 3.0.0.4.386_50460; RT-AC86U: 3.0.0.4_386_51529.

Apache Superset Signed Cookie Priv Esc
Session Validation attacks in Apache Superset versions up to and including 2.0.1. Installations that have not altered the default configured SECRET_KEY according to installation instructions allow for an attacker to authenticate and access unauthorized resources. This does not affect Superset administrators who have changed the default value for SECRET_KEY config.
All superset installations should always set a unique secure random SECRET_KEY. Your SECRET_KEY is used to securely sign all session cookies and encrypting sensitive information on the database.
Add a strong SECRET_KEY to your `superset_config.py` file like:
SECRET_KEY = <YOUR_OWN_RANDOM_GENERATED_SECRET_KEY>
Alternatively you can set it with `SUPERSET_SECRET_KEY` environment variable.

WSO2 Arbitrary File Upload to RCE
Certain WSO2 products allow unrestricted file upload with resultant remote code execution. The attacker must use a /fileupload endpoint with a Content-Disposition directory traversal sequence to reach a directory under the web root, such as a ../../../../repository/deployment/server/webapps directory. This affects WSO2 API Manager 2.2.0 up to 4.0.0, WSO2 Identity Server 5.2.0 up to 5.11.0, WSO2 Identity Server Analytics 5.4.0, 5.4.1, 5.5.0 and 5.6.0, WSO2 Identity Server as Key Manager 5.3.0 up to 5.11.0, WSO2 Enterprise Integrator 6.2.0 up to 6.6.0, WSO2 Open Banking AM 1.4.0 up to 2.0.0 and WSO2 Open Banking KM 1.4.0, up to 2.0.0.

Openfire authentication bypass with RCE plugin
Openfire is an XMPP server licensed under the Open Source Apache License. Openfire's administrative console, a web-based application, was found to be vulnerable to a path traversal attack via the setup environment. This permitted an unauthenticated user to use the unauthenticated Openfire Setup Environment in an already configured Openfire environment to access restricted pages in the Openfire Admin Console reserved for administrative users. This vulnerability affects all versions of Openfire that have been released since April 2015, starting with version 3.10.0. The problem has been patched in Openfire release 4.7.5 and 4.6.8, and further improvements will be included in the yet-to-be released first version on the 4.8 branch (which is expected to be version 4.8.0). Users are advised to upgrade. If an Openfire upgrade isn’t available for a specific release, or isn’t quickly actionable, users may see the linked github advisory (GHSA-gw42-f939-fhvm) for mitigation advice.

Apache Log4j 1.2.x - SQL Injection via JDBCAppender Message Converter
By design, the JDBCAppender in Log4j 1.2.x accepts an SQL statement as a configuration parameter where the values to be inserted are converters from PatternLayout. The message converter, %m, is likely to always be included. This allows attackers to manipulate the SQL by entering crafted strings into input fields or headers of an application that are logged allowing unintended SQL queries to be executed. Note this issue only affects Log4j 1.x when specifically configured to use the JDBCAppender, which is not the default. Beginning in version 2.0-beta8, the JDBCAppender was re-introduced with proper support for parameterized SQL queries and further customization over the columns written to in logs. Apache Log4j 1.2 reached end of life in August 2015. Users should upgrade to Log4j 2 as it addresses numerous other issues from the previous versions.
