Possible NULL Dereference When Processing CMS KeyAgreeRecipientInfo
Issue summary: During processing of a crafted CMS EnvelopedData message
with KeyAgreeRecipientInfo a NULL pointer dereference can happen.
Impact summary: Applications that process attacker-controlled CMS data may
crash before authentication or cryptographic operations occur resulting in
Denial of Service.
When a CMS EnvelopedData message that uses KeyAgreeRecipientInfo is
processed, the optional parameters field of KeyEncryptionAlgorithmIdentifier
is examined without checking for its presence. This results in a NULL
pointer dereference if the field is missing.
Applications and services that call CMS_decrypt() on untrusted input
(e.g., S/MIME processing or CMS-based protocols) are vulnerable.
The FIPS modules in 3.6, 3.5, 3.4, 3.3 and 3.0 are not affected by this
issue, as the affected code is outside the OpenSSL FIPS module boundary.

Possible NULL Dereference When Processing CMS KeyTransportRecipientInfo
Issue summary: During processing of a crafted CMS EnvelopedData message
with KeyTransportRecipientInfo a NULL pointer dereference can happen.
Impact summary: Applications that process attacker-controlled CMS data may
crash before authentication or cryptographic operations occur resulting in
Denial of Service.
When a CMS EnvelopedData message that uses KeyTransportRecipientInfo with
RSA-OAEP encryption is processed, the optional parameters field of
RSA-OAEP SourceFunc algorithm identifier is examined without checking
for its presence. This results in a NULL pointer dereference if the field
is missing.

Heap Buffer Overflow in Hexadecimal Conversion
Issue summary: Converting an excessively large OCTET STRING value to
a hexadecimal string leads to a heap buffer overflow on 32 bit platforms.
Impact summary: A heap buffer overflow may lead to a crash or possibly
an attacker controlled code execution or other undefined behavior.
If an attacker can supply a crafted X.509 certificate with an excessively
large OCTET STRING value in extensions such as the Subject Key Identifier
(SKID) or Authority Key Identifier (AKID) which are being converted to hex,
the size of the buffer needed for the result is calculated as multiplication
of the input length by 3. On 32 bit platforms, this multiplication may overflow
resulting in the allocation of a smaller buffer and a heap buffer overflow.
Applications and services that print or log contents of untrusted X.509
certificates are vulnerable to this issue. As the certificates would have
to have sizes of over 1 Gigabyte, printing or logging such certificates
is a fairly unlikely operation and only 32 bit platforms are affected,
this issue was assigned Low severity.
The FIPS modules in 3.6, 3.5, 3.4, 3.3 and 3.0 are not affected by this
issue, as the affected code is outside the OpenSSL FIPS module boundary.
CVSS 9.8
Incorrect Failure Handling in RSA KEM RSASVE Encapsulation
Issue summary: Applications using RSASVE key encapsulation to establish
a secret encryption key can send contents of an uninitialized memory buffer to
a malicious peer.
Impact summary: The uninitialized buffer might contain sensitive data from the
previous execution of the application process which leads to sensitive data
leakage to an attacker.
RSA_public_encrypt() returns the number of bytes written on success and -1
on error. The affected code tests only whether the return value is non-zero.
As a result, if RSA encryption fails, encapsulation can still return success to
the caller, set the output lengths, and leave the caller to use the contents of
the ciphertext buffer as if a valid KEM ciphertext had been produced.
If applications use EVP_PKEY_encapsulate() with RSA/RSASVE on an
attacker-supplied invalid RSA public key without first validating that key,
then this may cause stale or uninitialized contents of the caller-provided
ciphertext buffer to be disclosed to the attacker in place of the KEM
ciphertext.
As a workaround calling EVP_PKEY_public_check() or
EVP_PKEY_public_check_quick() before EVP_PKEY_encapsulate() will mitigate
the issue.
The FIPS modules in 3.6, 3.5, 3.4, 3.3, 3.1 and 3.0 are affected by this issue.

Saleor Affected by Denial of Service via Unbounded GraphQL Query Batching
Saleor is an e-commerce platform. From 2.0.0 to before 3.23.0a3, 3.22.47, 3.21.54, and 3.20.118, Saleor supports query batching by submitting multiple GraphQL operations in a single HTTP request as a JSON array but wasn't enforcing any upper limit on the number of operations. This allowed an unauthenticated attacker to send a single HTTP request many operations (bypassing the per query complexity limit) to exhaust resources. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.23.0a3, 3.22.47, 3.21.54, and 3.20.118.

Saleor has Cross-Account Email Change via Unbound Confirmation Token
Saleor is an e-commerce platform. From 2.10.0 to before 3.23.0a3, 3.22.47, 3.21.54, and 3.20.118, a business-logic and authorization flaw was found in the account email change workflow, the confirmation flow did not verify that the email change confirmation token was issued for the given authenticated user. As a result, a valid email-change token generated for one account can be replayed while authenticated as a different account. The second account’s email address is then updated to the token's new_email, even though that token was never issued for that account. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.23.0a3, 3.22.47, 3.21.54, and 3.20.118.

Saleor requestEmailChange() - User Enumeration
Saleor is an e-commerce platform. From 2.10.0 to before 3.23.0a3, 3.22.47, 3.21.54, and 3.20.118, the requestEmailChange() mutation was revealing the existence of user-provided email addresses in error messages. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.23.0a3, 3.22.47, 3.21.54, and 3.20.118.

Use-after-free in lzma.LZMADecompressor, bz2.BZ2Decompressor, and gzip.GzipFile after re-use under memory pressure
Use-after-free (UAF) was possible in the `lzma.LZMADecompressor`, `bz2.BZ2Decompressor`, and `gzip.GzipFile` when a memory allocation fails with a `MemoryError` and the decompression instance is re-used. This scenario can be triggered if the process is under memory pressure. The fix cleans up the dangling pointer in this specific error condition.
The vulnerability is only present if the program re-uses decompressor instances across multiple decompression calls even after a `MemoryError` is raised during decompression. Using the helper functions to one-shot decompress data such as `lzma.decompress()`, `bz2.decompress()`, `gzip.decompress()`, and `zlib.decompress()` are not affected as a new decompressor instance is used per call. If the decompressor instance is not re-used after an error condition, this usage is similarly not vulnerable.

Parsec 3.0.0-3.5.x - Weak Curve25519 Order Point Validation in RustCrypto Backend
Parsec is a cloud-based application for cryptographically secure file sharing. In versions on the 3.x branch prior to 3.6.0, `libparsec_crypto`, a component of the Parsec application, does not check for weak order point of Curve25519 when compiled with its RustCrypto backend. In practice this means an attacker in a man-in-the-middle position would be able to provide weak order points to both parties in the Diffie-Hellman exchange, resulting in a high probability to for both parties to obtain the same shared key (hence leading to a successful SAS code exchange, misleading both parties into thinking no MITM has occurred) which is also known by the attacker. Note only Parsec web is impacted (as Parsec desktop uses `libparsec_crypto` with the libsodium backend). Version 3.6.0 of Parsec patches the issue.

rollbar.js < 2.26.5 and 3.0.0-alpha1-3.0.0-beta5 - Prototype Pollution via merge()
Rollbar.js offers error tracking and logging from Javascript to Rollbar. In versions before 2.26.5 and from 3.0.0-alpha1 to before 3.0.0-beta5, there is a prototype pollution vulnerability in merge(). If application code calls rollbar.configure() with untrusted input, prototype pollution is possible. This issue has been fixed in versions 2.26.5 and 3.0.0-beta5. A workaround involves ensuring that values passed to rollbar.configure() do not contain untrusted input.

astral-tokio-tar < 0.5.6 - Archive Entry Smuggling via PAX Header Size Mismatch
astral-tokio-tar is a tar archive reading/writing library for async Rust. Versions of astral-tokio-tar prior to 0.5.6 contain a boundary parsing vulnerability that allows attackers to smuggle additional archive entries by exploiting inconsistent PAX/ustar header handling. When processing archives with PAX-extended headers containing size overrides, the parser incorrectly advances stream position based on ustar header size (often zero) instead of the PAX-specified size, causing it to interpret file content as legitimate tar headers. This issue has been patched in version 0.5.6. There are no workarounds.

OpenWrt < 24.10.4 - Out-of-bounds Read and Write via ltq-ptm Driver ioctls
OpenWrt Project is a Linux operating system targeting embedded devices. Prior to version 24.10.4, local users could read and write arbitrary kernel memory using the ioctls of the ltq-ptm driver which is used to drive the datapath of the DSL line. This only effects the lantiq target supporting xrx200, danube and amazon SoCs from Lantiq/Intel/MaxLinear with the DSL in PTM mode. The DSL driver for the VRX518 is not affected. ATM mode is also not affected. Most VDSL lines use PTM mode and most ADSL lines use ATM mode. OpenWrt is normally running as a single user system, but some services are sandboxed. This vulnerability could allow attackers to escape a ujail sandbox or other contains. This is fixed in OpenWrt 24.10.4. There are no workarounds.

OpenWrt < 24.10.4 - Heap-based Buffer Overflow in ubusd Event Registration
OpenWrt Project is a Linux operating system targeting embedded devices. Prior to version 24.10.4, ubusd contains a heap buffer overflow in the event registration parsing code. This allows an attacker to modify the head and potentially execute arbitrary code in the context of the ubus daemon. The affected code is executed before running the ACL checks, all ubus clients are able to send such messages. In addition to the heap corruption, the crafted subscription also results in a bypass of the listen ACL. This is fixed in OpenWrt 24.10.4. There are no workarounds.

eProsima Fast DDS < 2.6.11, 2.7.0-2.14.5, 3.0.0-3.2.3, 3.3.0, 3.4.0 - Remote DoS via SPDP Packet Tampering
eprosima Fast DDS is a C++ implementation of the DDS (Data Distribution Service) standard of the OMG (Object Management Group). Prior to 2.6.11, 2.14.6, 3.2.4, 3.3.1, and 3.4.1, when the security mode is enabled, modifying the DATA Submessage within an SPDP packet sent by a publisher causes an Out-Of-Memory (OOM) condition, resulting in remote termination of Fast-DDS.
If the fields of PID_IDENTITY_TOKEN or PID_PERMISSION_TOKEN in the DATA Submessage — specifically by tampering with the length field in readPropertySeq — are modified, an integer overflow occurs, leading to an OOM during the resize operation. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.6.11, 2.14.6, 3.2.4, 3.3.1, and 3.4.1.

Fast DDS <3.4.1, <3.3.1, <2.6.11 - Buffer Overflow
Fast DDS is a C++ implementation of the DDS (Data Distribution Service) standard of the OMG (Object Management Group
). Prior to versions 3.4.1, 3.3.1, and 2.6.11, when the security mode is enabled, modifying the DATA Submessage within an
SPDP packet sent by a publisher causes a heap buffer overflow, resulting in remote termination of Fast-DDS. If the fields
of `PID_IDENTITY_TOKEN` or `PID_PERMISSIONS_TOKEN` in the DATA Submessage — specifically by tampering with the `str_size`
value read by `readString` (called from `readBinaryProperty`) — are modified, a 32-bit integer overflow can occur, causing
`std::vector::resize` to use an attacker-controlled size and quickly trigger heap buffer overflow and remote process term
ination. Versions 3.4.1, 3.3.1, and 2.6.11 patch the issue.

If the fields
of `PID_IDENTITY_TOKEN` or `PID_PERMISSIONS_TOKEN` in the DATA Submessage are tampered with — specially `readOctetVector`
reads an unchecked `vecsize` that is propagated unchanged into `readData` as the `length` parameter — the attacker-contro
lled `vecsize` can trigger a 32-bit integer overflow during the `length` calculation. That overflow can cause large alloca
tion attempt that quickly leads to OOM, enabling a remotely-triggerable denial-of-service and remote process termination.
Versions 3.4.1, 3.3.1, and 2.6.11 patch the issue.
CVSS 7.5
Fast DDS < 2.6.11 - Out-of-bounds Read in ParticipantGenericMessage CDR Parser
Fast DDS is a C++ implementation of the DDS (Data Distribution Service) standard of the OMG (Object Management Group
). ParticipantGenericMessage is the DDS Security control-message container that carries not only the handshake but also on
going security-control traffic after the handshake, such as crypto-token exchange, rekeying, re-authentication, and token
delivery for newly appearing endpoints. On receive, the CDR parser is invoked first and deserializes the `message_data` (i
.e., the `DataHolderSeq`) via the `readParticipantGenericMessage → readDataHolderSeq` path. The `DataHolderSeq` is parsed
sequentially: a sequence count (`uint32`), and for each DataHolder the `class_id` string (e.g. `DDS:Auth:PKI-DH:1.0+Req`),
string properties (a sequence of key/value pairs), and binary properties (a name plus an octet-vector). The parser operat
es at a stateless level and does not know higher-layer state (for example, whether the handshake has already completed), s
o it fully unfolds the structure before distinguishing legitimate from malformed traffic. Because RTPS permits duplicates,
delays, and retransmissions, a receiver must perform at least minimal structural parsing to check identity and sequence n
umbers before discarding or processing a message; the current implementation, however, does not "peek" only at a minimal
header and instead parses the entire `DataHolderSeq`. As a result, prior to versions 3.4.1, 3.3.1, and 2.6.11, this parsi
ng behavior can trigger an out-of-memory condition and remotely terminate the process. Versions 3.4.1, 3.3.1, and 2.6.11 p
atch the issue.

Mastodon 4.4.0-4.4.7 - Quote Control Bypass via Reblog
Mastodon is a free, open-source social network server based on ActivityPub. In Mastodon version 4.4, support for verifiable quote posts with quote controls was added, but it is possible for an attacker to bypass these controls in Mastodon versions prior to 4.4.8 and 4.5.0-beta.2. Mastodon internally treats reblogs as statuses. Since they were not special-treated, an attacker could reblog any post, then quote their reblog, technically quoting themselves, but having the quote feature a preview of the post they did not get authorization for with all of the affordances that would be otherwise denied by the quote controls. This issue has been patched in versions 4.4.8 and 4.5.0-beta.2.

elog < 3.1.5-20251014 - Authenticated Arbitrary HTML File Upload and Credential Theft
ELOG allows an authenticated user to upload arbitrary HTML files. The HTML content is executed in the context of other users when they open the file. Because ELOG includes usernames and password hashes in certain HTTP requests, an attacker can obtain the target's credentials and replay them or crack the password hash offline. In ELOG 3.1.5-20251014 release, HTML files are rendered as plain text.

Karmada Dashboard < 0.2.0 - Unauthenticated Sensitive Data Exposure via API Endpoints
Karmada Dashboard is a general-purpose, web-based control panel for Karmada which is a multi-cluster management project. Prior to version 0.2.0, there is an authentication bypass vulnerability in the Karmada Dashboard API. The backend API endpoints (e.g., /api/v1/secret, /api/v1/service) did not enforce authentication, allowing unauthenticated users to access sensitive cluster information such as Secrets and Services directly. Although the web UI required a valid JWT for access, the API itself remained exposed to direct requests without any authentication checks. Any user or entity with network access to the Karmada Dashboard service could exploit this vulnerability to retrieve sensitive data.
n8n < 1.113.0 - Remote Code Execution via Git Node Pre-Commit Hook
n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to 1.113.0, a remote code execution vulnerability exists in the Git Node component available in both Cloud and Self-Hosted versions of n8n. When a malicious actor clones a remote repository containing a pre-commit hook, the subsequent use of the Commit operation in the Git Node can inadvertently trigger the hook’s execution. This allows attackers to execute arbitrary code within the n8n environment, potentially compromising the system and any connected credentials or workflows. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.113.0.
