Use-after-free in lzma.LZMADecompressor, bz2.BZ2Decompressor, and gzip.GzipFile after re-use under memory pressure
Use-after-free (UAF) was possible in the `lzma.LZMADecompressor`, `bz2.BZ2Decompressor`, and `gzip.GzipFile` when a memory allocation fails with a `MemoryError` and the decompression instance is re-used. This scenario can be triggered if the process is under memory pressure. The fix cleans up the dangling pointer in this specific error condition.
The vulnerability is only present if the program re-uses decompressor instances across multiple decompression calls even after a `MemoryError` is raised during decompression. Using the helper functions to one-shot decompress data such as `lzma.decompress()`, `bz2.decompress()`, `gzip.decompress()`, and `zlib.decompress()` are not affected as a new decompressor instance is used per call. If the decompressor instance is not re-used after an error condition, this usage is similarly not vulnerable.

Leaflet <= 1.9.4 - Cross-Site Scripting via bindPopup() Method
Leaflet versions up to and including 1.9.4 are vulnerable to Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) via the bindPopup() method. This method renders user-supplied input as raw HTML without sanitization, allowing attackers to inject arbitrary JavaScript code through event handler attributes (e.g., <img src=x onerror="alert('XSS')">). When a victim views an affected map popup, the malicious script executes in the context of the victim's browser session.

Chamilo LMS: Stored XSS via Malicious File Upload in Social Post Attachments Leads to Arbitrary JavaScript Execution
Chamilo LMS is an open-source learning management system. In versions prior to 2.0.0-RC.3, a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the social post attachment upload functionality, where an authenticated user can upload a malicious HTML file containing JavaScript via the /api/social_post_attachments endpoint. The uploaded file is served back from the application at the generated contentUrl without sanitization, content type restrictions, or a Content-Disposition: attachment header, causing the JavaScript to execute in the browser within the application's origin. Because the payload is stored server-side and runs in the trusted origin, an attacker can perform session hijacking, account takeover, privilege escalation (if an admin views the link), and arbitrary actions on behalf of the victim. This issue has been fixed in version 2.0.0-RC.3.
CVSS 5.4
Chamilo LMS: IDOR in /api/course_rel_users Allows Unauthorized Enrollment of Arbitrary Users into Courses
Chamilo LMS is an open-source learning management system. In versions prior to 2.0.0-RC.3, the /api/course_rel_users endpoint is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference (IDOR), allowing an authenticated attacker to modify the user parameter in the request body to enroll any arbitrary user into any course without proper authorization checks. The backend trusts the user-supplied input for the user field and performs no server-side verification that the requester owns the referenced user ID or has permission to act on behalf of other users. This enables unauthorized manipulation of user-course relationships, potentially granting unintended access to course materials, bypassing enrollment controls, and compromising platform integrity. This issue has been fixed in version 2.0.0-RC.3.
CVSS 7.1
WebStack <= 1.2024 - Unauthenticated Arbitrary File Upload
The WebStack theme for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file uploads due to missing file type validation in the io_img_upload() function in all versions up to, and including, 1.2024. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to upload arbitrary files on the affected site's server which may make remote code execution possible.

ApostropheCMS: publicApiProjection Bypass via `project` Query Builder in Piece-Type REST API
ApostropheCMS is an open-source Node.js content management system. Versions 4.28.0 and prior contain an authorization bypass vulnerability in the getRestQuery method of the @apostrophecms/piece-type module, where the method checks whether a MongoDB projection has already been set before applying the admin-configured publicApiProjection. An unauthenticated attacker can supply a project query parameter in the REST API request, which is processed by applyBuildersSafely before the permission check, pre-populating the projection state and causing the publicApiProjection to be skipped entirely. This allows disclosure of any field on publicly queryable documents that the administrator explicitly restricted from the public API, such as internal notes, draft content, or metadata. Exploitation is trivial, requiring only appending query parameters to a public URL with no authentication. This issue has been fixed in version 4.29.0.
CVSS 5.3
ApostropheCMS: Stored XSS in SEO Fields Leads to Authenticated API Data Exposure in ApostropheCMS
ApostropheCMS is an open-source Node.js content management system. Versions 4.28.0 and prior contain a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in SEO-related fields (SEO Title and Meta Description), where user-controlled input is rendered without proper output encoding into HTML contexts including <title> tags, <meta> attributes, and JSON-LD structured data. An attacker can inject a payload such as "></title><script>alert(1)</script> to break out of the intended HTML context and execute arbitrary JavaScript in the browser of any authenticated user who views the affected page. This can be leveraged to perform authenticated API requests, access sensitive data such as usernames, email addresses, and roles via internal APIs, and exfiltrate it to an attacker-controlled server. This issue has been fixed in version 4.29.0.

NOTE: although users are supposed to use the latest version from git (not a release), the date range for the vulnerable code was less than a week, occurring after 6.1.2 but before 6.1.3.
CVSS 7.4
goodoneuz/pay-uz <= 2.2.24 - Unauthenticated Remote Code Execution via Payment API Endpoint
The goodoneuz/pay-uz Laravel package (<= 2.2.24) contains a critical vulnerability in the /payment/api/editable/update endpoint that allows unauthenticated attackers to overwrite existing PHP payment hook files. The endpoint is exposed via Route::any() without authentication middleware, enabling remote access without credentials. User-controlled input is directly written into executable PHP files using file_put_contents(). These files are later executed via require() during normal payment processing workflows, resulting in remote code execution under default application behavior. The payment secret token mentioned by the vendor is unrelated to this endpoint and does not mitigate the vulnerability.
CVSS 9.8
Safetica STProcessMonitor 11.11.4.0 - Authenticated Denial of Service via IOCTL Handler
STProcessMonitor 11.11.4.0, part of the Safetica Application suite, allows an admin-privileged user to send crafted IOCTL requests to terminate processes that are protected through a third-party implementation. This is caused by insufficient caller validation in the driver's IOCTL handler, enabling unauthorized processes to perform those actions in kernel space. Successful exploitation can lead to denial of service by disrupting critical third-party services or applications. Unauthorized processes load the driver and send a crafted IOCTL request (0xB822200C) to terminate processes protected by a third-party implementation. This action exploits insufficient caller validation in the driver's IOCTL handler, allowing unauthorized processes to perform termination operations in kernel space. Successful exploitation can lead to denial of service by disrupting critical third-party services or applications.
