This exploit targets a Linux kernel vulnerability (CVE-2005-0449) by creating numerous locked files and manipulating the /proc/locks file via an _llseek call to trigger a denial-of-service condition. The code is a functional proof-of-concept for a DoS attack on Linux kernel versions up to 2.6.10.
