This exploit triggers a Denial of Service (DoS) in GOM Player 2.1.28.5039 by crafting a malformed AVI file that causes an access violation exception when parsed. The PoC generates a corrupted AVI file with specific byte sequences designed to exploit a vulnerability in the player's handling of AVI metadata.
