This exploit triggers a NULL pointer dereference in HP Data Protector Manager A.06.11 by sending a malformed packet to the Media Management Daemon (mmd.exe) on port 1026, causing a denial of service (DoS). The payload is crafted to force an access violation when the vulnerable MSVCR71.dll attempts to read from address 0x00000000.
