This Perl script exploits a buffer overflow vulnerability in Trillian's IRC module by sending a maliciously crafted IRC server response containing shellcode. The exploit targets Trillian 0.73 and likely earlier versions, leveraging a 174-byte NOP sled followed by shellcode to execute 'notepad.exe' as a proof of concept.
