PackageKit vulnerable to TOCTOU Race on Transaction Flags leads to arbitrary package installation as root
PackageKit is a a D-Bus abstraction layer that allows the user to manage packages in a secure way using a cross-distro, cross-architecture API. PackageKit between and including versions 1.0.2 and 1.3.4 is vulnerable to a time-of-check time-of-use (TOCTOU) race condition on transaction flags that allows unprivileged users to install packages as root and thus leads to a local privilege escalation. This is patched in version 1.3.5.
A local unprivileged user can install arbitrary RPM packages as root, including executing RPM scriptlets, without authentication. The vulnerability is a TOCTOU race condition on `transaction->cached_transaction_flags` combined with a silent state-machine guard that discards illegal backward transitions while leaving corrupted flags in place. Three bugs exist in `src/pk-transaction.c`:
1. Unconditional flag overwrite (line 4036): `InstallFiles()` writes caller-supplied flags to `transaction->cached_transaction_flags` without checking whether the transaction has already been authorized/started. A second call blindly overwrites the flags even while the transaction is RUNNING.
2. Silent state-transition rejection (lines 873–882): `pk_transaction_set_state()` silently discards backward state transitions (e.g. `RUNNING` → `WAITING_FOR_AUTH`) but the flag overwrite at step 1 already happened. The transaction continues running with corrupted flags.
3. Late flag read at execution time (lines 2273–2277): The scheduler's idle callback reads cached_transaction_flags at dispatch time, not at authorization time. If flags were overwritten between authorization and execution, the backend sees the attacker's flags.

GitHub Enterprise Server RCE via Git Push Option Injection
An improper neutralization of special elements vulnerability was identified in GitHub Enterprise Server that allowed an attacker with push access to a repository to achieve remote code execution on the instance. During a git push operation, user-supplied push option values were not properly sanitized before being included in internal service headers. Because the internal header format used a delimiter character that could also appear in user input, an attacker could inject additional metadata fields through crafted push option values. This vulnerability was reported via the GitHub Bug Bounty program and has been fixed in GitHub Enterprise Server versions 3.14.25, 3.15.20, 3.16.16, 3.17.13, 3.18.7 and 3.19.4.

Midi-Synth <1.1.0 - Unauthenticated RCE
The midi-Synth plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file uploads due to missing file type and file extension validation in the 'export' AJAX action in all versions up to, and including, 1.1.0. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to upload arbitrary files on the affected site's server which may make remote code execution possible granted the attacker can obtain a valid nonce. The nonce is exposed in frontend JavaScript making it trivially accessible to unauthenticated attackers.

Pre-Authentication Remote Code Execution via `jato.clientSession` Deserialization in OpenAM
Open Access Management (OpenAM) is an access management solution. Prior to 16.0.6, OpenIdentityPlatform OpenAM is vulnerable to pre-authentication Remote Code Execution (RCE) via unsafe Java deserialization of the jato.clientSession HTTP parameter. This bypasses the WhitelistObjectInputStream mitigation that was applied to the jato.pageSession parameter after CVE-2021-35464. An unauthenticated attacker can achieve arbitrary command execution on the server by sending a crafted serialized Java object as the jato.clientSession GET/POST parameter to any JATO ViewBean endpoint whose JSP contains <jato:form> tags (e.g., the Password Reset pages). This vulnerability is fixed in 16.0.6.

Breeze Cache <= 2.4.4 - Unauthenticated Arbitrary File Upload via fetch_gravatar_from_remote
The Breeze Cache plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file uploads due to missing file type validation in the 'fetch_gravatar_from_remote' function in all versions up to, and including, 2.4.4. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to upload arbitrary files on the affected site's server which may make remote code execution possible. The vulnerability can only be exploited if "Host Files Locally - Gravatars" is enabled, which is disabled by default.

net: skb: fix cross-cache free of KFENCE-allocated skb head
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: skb: fix cross-cache free of KFENCE-allocated skb head
SKB_SMALL_HEAD_CACHE_SIZE is intentionally set to a non-power-of-2
value (e.g. 704 on x86_64) to avoid collisions with generic kmalloc
bucket sizes. This ensures that skb_kfree_head() can reliably use
skb_end_offset to distinguish skb heads allocated from
skb_small_head_cache vs. generic kmalloc caches.
However, when KFENCE is enabled, kfence_ksize() returns the exact
requested allocation size instead of the slab bucket size. If a caller
(e.g. bpf_test_init) allocates skb head data via kzalloc() and the
requested size happens to equal SKB_SMALL_HEAD_CACHE_SIZE, then
slab_build_skb() -> ksize() returns that exact value. After subtracting
skb_shared_info overhead, skb_end_offset ends up matching
SKB_SMALL_HEAD_HEADROOM, causing skb_kfree_head() to incorrectly free
the object to skb_small_head_cache instead of back to the original
kmalloc cache, resulting in a slab cross-cache free:
kmem_cache_free(skbuff_small_head): Wrong slab cache. Expected
skbuff_small_head but got kmalloc-1k
Fix this by always calling kfree(head) in skb_kfree_head(). This keeps
the free path generic and avoids allocator-specific misclassification
for KFENCE objects.

Lemur: LDAP Filter Injection enables post-authentication privilege escalation
Lemur manages TLS certificate creation. Prior to 1.9.0, Lemur's LDAP authentication module (lemur/auth/ldap.py) constructs LDAP search filters using unsanitized user input via Python string interpolation. An authenticated LDAP user can inject LDAP filter metacharacters through the username field to manipulate group membership queries and escalate their privileges to administrator. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.9.0.

wger: cross-tenant password reset and plaintext disclosure via gym=None bypass
wger is a free, open-source workout and fitness manager. Prior to 2.6, the reset_user_password and gym_permissions_user_edit views in wger perform a gym-scope authorization check using Python object comparison (!=) that evaluates None != None as False, silently bypassing the guard when both the attacker and victim have no gym assignment (gym=None). A user with gym.manage_gym permission and gym=None can reset the password of any other gym=None user; the new plaintext password is returned verbatim in the HTML response body, enabling one-shot full account takeover. The victim's original password is invalidated, locking them out permanently. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.6.

Grav: Low-privileged API users can create super-admin accounts via blueprint-upload
Grav is a file-based Web platform. In Grav 2.0.0-beta.2, a low-privileged authenticated API user with api.media.write can abuse /api/v1/blueprint-upload to write an arbitrary YAML file into user/accounts/, then log in as the newly created account with api.super privileges. This results in full administrative compromise of the Grav API. This vulnerability is fixed in API 1.0.0-beta.17.

Langflow: Path Traversal in Langflow Knowledge Bases API
Langflow is a tool for building and deploying AI-powered agents and workflows. Prior to 1.9.0, Langflow is vulnerable to Path Traversal in the Knowledge Bases API (DELETE /api/v1/knowledge_bases). This occurs because user-supplied knowledge base names are concatenated directly into file paths without proper sanitization or boundary validation. An authenticated attacker can exploit this flaw to delete arbitrary directories anywhere on the server's filesystem, leading to data loss and potential service disruption. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.9.0.

Thymeleaf: Improper recognition of unauthorized syntax patterns in sandboxed Thymeleaf expressions
Thymeleaf is a server-side Java template engine for web and standalone environments. Prior to 3.1.5.RELEASE, a security bypass vulnerability exists in the expression execution mechanisms of Thymeleaf. Although the library provides mechanisms to avoid the execution of potentially dangerous expressions in some specific sandboxed (restricted) contexts, it fails to properly neutralize specific constructs that allow this kind of expressions to be executed. If an application developer passes to the template engine unsanitized variables that contain such expressions, and these values are used in sandboxed contexts inside the templates, these expressions can be executed achieving Server-Side Template Injection (SSTI). This vulnerability is fixed in 3.1.5.RELEASE.

Crawl4AI < 0.8.0 - Unauthenticated Local File Inclusion via Docker API Endpoints
Crawl4AI versions prior to 0.8.0 contain a local file inclusion vulnerability in the Docker API deployment. The /execute_js, /screenshot, /pdf, and /html endpoints accept file:// URLs, allowing unauthenticated remote attackers to read arbitrary files from the server filesystem. An attacker can access sensitive files such as /etc/passwd, /etc/shadow, application configuration files, and environment variables via /proc/self/environ, potentially exposing credentials, API keys, and internal application structure.
by dwisiswant0
Crawl4AI < 0.8.0 - Unauthenticated Remote Code Execution via Docker API Hooks Parameter
Crawl4AI versions prior to 0.8.0 contain a remote code execution vulnerability in the Docker API deployment. The /crawl endpoint accepts a hooks parameter containing Python code that is executed using exec(). The __import__ builtin was included in the allowed builtins, allowing unauthenticated remote attackers to import arbitrary modules and execute system commands. Successful exploitation allows full server compromise, including arbitrary command execution, file read and write access, sensitive data exfiltration, and lateral movement within internal networks.

Traefik < 3.6.8 - Unauthenticated Denial of Service via STARTTLS Request Bypass
Traefik is an HTTP reverse proxy and load balancer. Prior to 3.6.8, there is a potential vulnerability in Traefik managing STARTTLS requests. An unauthenticated client can bypass Traefik entrypoint respondingTimeouts.readTimeout by sending the 8-byte Postgres SSLRequest (STARTTLS) prelude and then stalling, causing connections to remain open indefinitely, leading to a denial of service. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.6.8.
