Spring Data REST SpEL Injection via Map Key in JSON Patch
Spring Data REST is vulnerable to SpEL expression injection through map-typed properties when processing JSON Patch (application/json-patch+json) requests. When a persistent entity exposes a Map-typed property, the JSON Pointer path segment used as the map key is embedded directly into a SpEL expression without sanitization or validation.

In Jenkins 2.567 and earlier, LTS 2.555.2 and earlier, it is possible for attackers to have Jenkins deserialize arbitrary types defined in Jenkins core or plugins from an attacker-controlled `config.xml` submission in a way that allows them to handle HTTP requests afterwards.
This can be used to impersonate any user and send HTTP requests on their behalf, up to and including use of the Script Console to run arbitrary code, or to read arbitrary files from the Jenkins controller.

To workaround, temporarily block non-staff users from fetching order information (the order() GraphQL query) using a WAF.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net/rds: reset op_nents when zerocopy page pin fails
When iov_iter_get_pages2() fails in rds_message_zcopy_from_user(),
the pinned pages are released with put_page(), and
rm->data.op_mmp_znotifier is cleared. But we fail to properly
clear rm->data.op_nents.
Later when rds_message_purge() is called from rds_sendmsg() the
cleanup loop iterates over the incorrectly non zero number of
op_nents and frees them again.
Fix this by properly resetting op_nents when it should be in
rds_message_zcopy_from_user().

Unauthenticated Arbitrary File Creation and Truncation in a PostgreSQL Sidecar Service Endpoint in Splunk Enterprise
In Splunk Enterprise 10.2 versions below 10.2.4 and 10 versions below 10.0.7, an unauthenticated user could create or truncate arbitrary files through a PostgreSQL sidecar service endpoint. The vulnerability exists because the PostgreSQL sidecar service endpoint lacks authentication controls, allowing any network-reachable user to invoke file operations without credentials. Splunk Enterprise versions 9.4 and earlier are not affected. If you cannot immediately upgrade to a fixed version, you can mitigate this vulnerability by disabling the PostgreSQL sidecar service.

The Advanced Custom Fields: Extended plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation via Validation Bypass in all versions up to and including 0.9.2.5. The vulnerability exists due to the after_validate_save_post() function unconditionally trusting the attacker-controlled _acf_post_id POST parameter — with no authentication or integrity verification — to select a cleanup branch that silently discards all validation errors not prefixed with acfe:. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to suppress both the role allow-list validation error added by acfe_field_user_roles::validate_front_value() and the administrator-role capability guard error added by acfe_module_form_action_user::validate_action(), causing wp_insert_user() to execute with an attacker-supplied administrator role argument and resulting in the creation of a new administrator-level user account. Exploitation requires the target site to expose a public ACFE frontend form configured with a Create User action that maps a role field.

SQLAdmin: Authorization Bypass on `ajax_lookup`
SQLAdmin is a flexible Admin interface for SQLAlchemy models. Prior to version 0.25.1, the ajax_lookup endpoint in application.py bypasses the is_accessible() access control check that all other endpoints enforce. If a developer restricts model access by overriding is_accessible(), an authenticated user can still query that model's data through the ajax_lookup endpoint — silently bypassing the restriction. This issue has been patched in version 0.25.1.

The ftpcp() function in Lib/ftplib.py was not updated when
CVE-2021-4189 was fixed. While makepasv() was patched to replace
server-supplied PASV host addresses with the actual peer address
(getpeername()[0]), ftpcp() still calls parse227() directly and passes
the raw attacker-controllable IP address and port to target.sendport(). This patch is related to CVE-2021-4189.
tarfile.data_filter path traversal bypass allows writing outside the extraction directory
tarfile.data_filter could be bypassed using crafted link entries, including symlinks with empty or directory-like names, to redirect later archive members outside the intended extraction directory. This allowed a malicious tar archive to cause tarfile.extractall() to write files outside the destination directory, subject to the permissions of the extracting process.

Repeated attacks can lead to sustained service unavailability. This issue has been patched in version 2.6.7.
SolidInvoice: Unrestricted file upload with no MIME validation allows stored XSS via malicious SVG logo
SolidInvoice is an open-source invoicing platform. Prior to version 2.3.17, the company logo upload feature accepts any file type without validation. An authenticated administrator can upload an SVG file containing embedded JavaScript. This script is base64-encoded and injected unescaped into every page of the application, causing stored cross-site scripting (XSS) that executes in every authenticated user's browser. This issue has been patched in version 2.3.17.

SolidInvoice: API tokens stored as plaintext in the database allowing full credential compromise on database breach

Prior to version 9.2.0495, a Vimscript code injection vulnerability exists in s:NetrwBookHistSave() in the netrw plugin (runtime/pack/dist/opt/netrw/autoload/netrw.vim) when serializing browsed directory paths to the history file ~/.vim/.netrwhist. A directory name derived from the filesystem is interpolated into a single-quoted Vimscript string literal without escaping embedded single quotes, allowing a crafted directory name to break out of the string context and execute arbitrary Vimscript, including shell commands via system() and :!, the next time the history file is sourced. This issue has been patched in version 9.2.0495.
